What you will need

Before starting, make sure you have all necessary Picture Framing Components, including four Metal Picture Frame rails or a Wood Picture Frame, or wedge Metal Picture Frame corner hardware, or Wood Picture Frame clips, glazing, mat boards, backing, and appropriate tools such as a screwdriver. You will also need a flat work surface. It is not a bad idea to have a piece of cardboard or lint-free towel to cover the flat work surface. This will prevent the frame components from scratching the work surface.
